Every time you do laundry, the detergent disappears.
BUT THE IMPACT WE.
Every time you press the washing machine button, the detergent goes down the drain.
Get out of my sight.
But It doesn't disappear from the planet.
What goes down the drain doesn't magically disappear. Many traditional detergents contain harsh chemicals and come in plastic packaging that, sooner or later, ends up accumulating in landfills, oceans, or breaking down into invisible microplastics.
We don't see them.
But they are there.
In the water.
On the floor.
In the air.
And many times, on our skin as well.
The invisible impact of traditional laundry
Most conventional detergents include:
- Petroleum-derived surfactants
- Synthetic fragrances
- Harsh preservatives
- Unnecessary colorings
To this is added something we take for granted: heavy plastic bottles, which are difficult to recycle properly and have a high transportation footprint due to their volume and water content.
The result:
- More plastic waste
- More emissions from transportation
- Increased chemical load in aquatic ecosystems
- More skin exposure at home
And all because of something we do every week.
My story: why it was born VAMZ Shop
Yo, Vita, founder of VAMZ Shop, I didn't start this project to follow a trend.
My health was affected by conventional cleaning products. Irritations, discomfort, a constant feeling of being surrounded by something that wasn't good for me.
And I understood something important:
It's not normal for cleaning your house to involve contaminating your body.
Cleaning should bring well-being. No doubt.
That's why I decided to create an alternative.
